CABO SAN LUCAS
LAS VENTANAS AL PARAISO
Located about 15 minutes from the town of Los Cabos, at the tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula is this quiet, refined, low-rise enclave with modern white stucco and sandstone suites, dramatically embellished with desert vegetation, artistic masonry, and winding waterways that meander down to infinity-edged swimming pools and a pristine strand of light-sand beach. Seven white stucco, two-story buildings house 56 spacious 960-square-foot Mexican motif junior suites, each with either a lounging terrace and Jacuzzi bathroom tub, or a patio with a heated outdoor Jacuzzi and roof-top terrace. In addition there are four ultra-deluxe, one-bedroom suites and a three-bedroom, three bathroom suite with its own swimming pool.
The three-meal-a-day main dining room and the casual Sea Grill are both located between the pools and ocean. There is an impressive spa-fitness facility, two illuminated tennis courts and an 18-hole, Robert Trent Jones championship golf course across the road which is shared by several near-by hotels.
Strong Points: A dramatically beautiful, upscale, casually sophisticated property with luxurious accommodations in a picturesque setting.
